To gain admission, prospective students must meet certain requirements, including being at least 18 years old, presenting proof of secondary education or passing the Wonderlic Basic Skills Test, and undergoing Nurse Aide Registry verification.

The admission process involves a meeting with an Admissions Representative to discuss career goals and program recommendations. Enrollment begins on the first Monday of each month, concluding by the end of that week or the last day before classroom instruction starts. Each course delves into specific skills and knowledge areas, such as communication with geriatric residents, personal care tasks, vital sign monitoring, mobility assistance, and psychosocial support for residents with memory loss. The program culminates in clinical practice, providing hands-on experience with real patients in a nursing home setting. Additionally, Companion Training Center offers American Heart Association CPR classes, both online and in groups, with certification upon successful completion.
